Auction Items Needed for National Conference

The Annual Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP) conference will be here before we know it. The 2026 ESP conference is scheduled for October 12 – 15, 2026, at the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield-DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. As in the past we are soliciting donations for the auction, a very popular tradition of the ESP conference. In addition to the fun of being involved in the auction, the funds are critical to providing recognition awards and the scholarships and grants given to our members annually.  

Items should be carried to the Registration Area of the conference on Sunday, October 11, or Monday, October 12 during registration times where the Auction Committee members will receive them. Complete the ESP Auction Consignment Form in advance or onsite with a description and the estimated value of your item. A receipt will be provided.

1. If you plan to donate an item(s) for the auction, your items(s) will need to be registered. Use the attached Consignment Form for each item you will donate to the auction. Complete the form and turn it in at the Auction Receiving Table near the Registration Desk along with your item. Include a good description and a value for the item. If it is an item for the live auction, the description can help a lot to interest the buyers, particularly when there is a history or story about the item. A fun item is great. A gift card for an item that can be shipped to the buyer is a suggestion.

2. If you wish to ship an item, please send it to:

Ship the item so that they are sure to arrive on or before October 9, 2026. Email Lisa Peterson, lap5981@illinois.edu, to tell her that an item is coming and give a brief description of the package.

3. The Silent Auction items will be available for viewing on Tuesday morning, so please try to get your item in to the Auction Desk by 5 PM on Monday so it can be processed for the auction on Tuesday. Please keep in mind that some auction items may be combined at the discretion of the conference auction committee.
