Developing Collaborative Partnerships with Chambers of Commerce

ESP members will be presented information from a Chamber of Commerce (COC) study conducted by University of Tennessee Extension (UTE)-Community Economic Development (CED). Participants will learn COCs’ perception of Extension work and what community issues they could collaborate with Extension to address. The session will include how the County (Extension) Agent concept was constructed by a COC, community and economic issues identified, discussion of how Extension may assist and ways to engage and collaborate with COCs and development districts thru marketing Extension programs.
