National Recognition Nomination Form - Due March 1 of each year.
- Use this form to nominate chapter winners for regional & national awards. Chapter may only submit one nomination for each category.
- You may review the current list of award applications/nominations that have been submitted online by visiting the Award Applications Submitted Page. (Access locked to Chapter Officers only). This online report is real-time data and includes applications being submitted today at the chapter level.
Chapter Voting for National Board, Regional and National Recognition Awards - Due May 15 of each year.
Each year from April 15 - May 15 chapters will submit their annual ballot. Balloting is the responsibility of the chapter president. Chapters submit one ballot that is weighted by number of chapter delegates. Chapter presidents should follow their chapter guidelines for completing the national ballot such as gathering input from other officers or a chapter awards committee.
Chapter use of the National Online System to Collect Chapter Nominations
Chapters are invited to use the national online system to collection recognition applications / nominations at the chapter level.
Chapters are invited to use the online system that is also used for the recognition program at the regional and national level. The benefit of using the national system is that once an application is on file it will not need to be re-entered.
When a online recognition application is submitted the applicant/nominator will have the opportunity to print their application. After submission, a copy of the completed application will be emailed to The Chapter Recognition Chair (applicant must enter the Chapter Recognition Chair's email address into the recognition application). All applications will be stored in our online database.
On the national website we will provide a list of names for members who have submitted applications in the last two years. This is intended to be a reference to ensure you have not missed an application in your email. See the List of Award Applications in National Database on in the Chapter Officers Toolbox to access online reports showing applications submitted.
Important Notes:
- It is very important that the Chapter instruct the members applying for awards to enter the correct Chapter Recognition Chair email into the application form in order for the chapter to receive their copy of the application.
- Applications can be resubmitted by an applicant. In the National Office, we always use the last application submitted before the deadline.
- For national recognition, all award applications must be entered online in addition to being listed on the National Recognition Submission Form.
- The online recognition application site is open all year to accommodate any chapter's calendar.
- If you find an application in the database but you received no email, you may send a request to espoffice@espnational.org to have the application emailed again.
